What you'll do
* Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs
* Help pupils develop emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
* Support engagement with classroom learning and daily routines
* Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support team to deliver tailored support plans
* Encourage confidence, resilience, and positive social interactions
* Help create and maintain a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Our expectations for you
* Has experience supporting children with SEMH or behavioural needs
* Has worked as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school (desirable)
* Brings a calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Builds strong, trusting relationships with pupils
* Communicates effectively and works well within a team
* Has experience with Read Write Inc. (RWI) or phonics (advantageous but not essential)
* A dedicated consultant who understands your experience and career goals
