About Our Client
The client is a national law firm with offices across the UK. They have a large full service office in central Leeds and are known as a great place to work with a high staff retention rate. They have a sizeable Employment practice which is ranked by the legal directories for Yorkshire.
Job Description
The Employment Partner will deal with a range of responsibilities including;
3. On boarding existing contact / clients
4. Supporting the existing team who deal with respondent Employment work.
5. Leading on business development and winning new work.
6. Working as part of the national Employment UK team.
7. Helping managing junior lawyers in the team.
8. Collaborate with other departments to provide holistic legal solutions for clients.
9. Stay updated on changes in employment law and provide insights to clients and colleagues.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Employment Partner should have:
10. Proven expertise in employment law gained from a large regional, national or international law firm
11. Able to bring their own work and clients across
12. Experience in managing and mentoring a team
13. Ideally some sector experience .
14. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
15. Ties to Leeds
16. A proactive approach to business development and client engagement.
