Head of Sales, Marketing and Ops Location: Winchester, Hampshire (1–2 days/week), with regular travel to London and across the UK Salary: £60,000 - £65,000p/a People2people are recruiting for a Head of Sales and Marketing to lead a dynamic business through the next phase of growth. This is a strategic leadership role combining sales, marketing, and operational oversight, perfect for someone who thrives in a creative, artisanal environment with commercial ambition. The company is a specialist in high-quality, custom-designed metalwork for interiors, architectural settings, marine applications, and more. They have a strong reputation for craftsmanship, and are known for producing one-of-a-kind, handcrafted pieces. Due to the location of this role, the applicant must have a full UK driving licence. Key Responsibilities Sales & Marketing Lead the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing plans to promote bespoke services. Identify and grow relationships with architects, interior designers, boat builders, and other professionals requiring premium custom metalwork. Drive inbound and outbound sales efforts, managing the full project pipeline from inquiry to delivery. Collaborate with the talented design and production teams to ensure client visions are beautifully realised. Create compelling marketing materials and campaigns that reflect the artistry and stories. Manage website and social media content to enhance the digital footprint and brand awareness. Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions, acting as a brand ambassador. Work closely with Group Marketing to develop and track marketing plans and budgets. Operations & Leadership Oversee daily operations, ensuring high performance across design, estimation, procurement, and production. Lead and motivate a small on-site team, promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Set and deliver clear sales growth targets and KPIs, supported by actionable plans. Report on commercial performance and use data to shape decisions and strategy. Operate effectively within a matrix management structure and liaise closely with other Group functions. About You Demonstrable experience in driving strong sales performance and business growth, ideally in a design-led or craftsmanship-oriented industry. Strong commercial acumen and a track record of developing successful sales and marketing strategies. Comfortable leading a small team and managing operations day-to-day. Experience working within a matrix structure and coordinating across departments. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills. Passion for quality craftsmanship, design, and bespoke manufacturing. Ability and willingness to travel regularly across the UK (company car provided).
