Payroll Manager (12 month FTC) – Doncaster – Up to £50,000
Chase & Holland are proud to be supporting a multinational logistics & engineering company who are seeking a dedicated, proven Payroll Manager to be a key part of the People Service’s department based at their Head Office in Doncaster.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Manager to join a well-established business, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of 4 weekly payrolls and 1 monthly payroll. You will mentor and drive a small team, ensuring clear objectives and taking a hands-on approach to ensure accurate payroll processing.

Study support if requiredPayroll Manager Responsibilities include:
Leading and mentoring the Payroll team to ensure all payroll objectives are accurately completed
Promoting accuracy and compliance to minimise erros and ensure that internal audit requiremernts are met
Supporting in the ongoing development and maintenance of the Payroll systems ensuring efficiency
Liaising with third party payroll, pension and benefit providers ensuring adherence to relevant Tax, Social Security, Pension and Benefit deduction requirements
Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive set of internal process documentation that aligns with internal audit standards and promotes efficient execution of transactional activities
Support all internal financial audits and compliance initiatives, ensuring full adherence to employee contractual obligations regarding payment and taxation
Oversee the accurate and timely remittance of pension contributions and all statutory deductions from employee salaries to relevant third-party providers
Actively contribute to projects impacting service delivery and provide support to broader business initiatives as needed or requested
Manage the end-to-end administration of employee benefits, including flexible benefits, long service and retirement awards, Healthshield, and private medical insurance (PMI)Required Skills & Experience:
A professional who can demonstrate a strong track record of delivering high-quality transactional payroll services and knowledge of best practice payroll processes, including compliance and audit.
Experience in leadership will be beneficial for the position.
You will have a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across People Services and broader HR teams
