Divert individuals, where appropriate, out of the criminal justice system into health, social care, or other supportive services.

We are looking for an experienced healthcare professional registered with a professional body to work with individuals who have come into contact with the criminal justice system. You will offer them hope and support in reducing their health inequalities and provide support with diversion away from the criminal justice system.
Requirements
* Suitable professional qualification (Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, or other allied health professional)
* Extensive post-qualification experience working in a range of settings, including community work, of at least 12 months
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and in partnership with agencies such as Police, Probation Services, and Drug and Alcohol Services
* Sound assessment skills, including identifying risk and informing decision-making around complex care or safeguarding needs
To manage a caseload of adults referred to the service, empowering them to access support to improve their lives. To be a strong team player and able to work autonomously.
