Job overview
Working closely with the Care Group and other clinical leads, the post holder takes the Lead for all aspects of Diabetes and Endocrinology to support the delivery of the clinical and operational aspects of the Trust’s strategy and the NHS Operating Framework.
As the Clinical Lead for the service the post holder will be jointly responsible for ensuring that the service operates fully within the overall objectives and policies of the Trust and within objectives, targets, quality standards and financial controls, and to support the achievement of the WHH care group level objectives.
Main duties of the job
The clinical lead will work together with the William Harvey Care Group and their Network Leads in providing leadership and management, and will have shared responsibility for the operational performance, clinical quality, safety and financial management of the service. They will be responsible for ensuring a positive patient and staff experience, backed up by a robust governance process for leading and continuously improving services.

Qualifications and training
* MRCP
* Full GMC Registration
* CCT Specialist Registration or will obtain within 6 months of interview date
* Minimum of English Level 2 (GCSE grade C or equivalent) or equivalent (IELTS) or graduate of a UK Medical School
