Key role details Hours per week: 30 Salary: £29,278 up to £32,075 Annual leave: 252 hours (42 days FTE) Working pattern: Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 17.00 No two minds learn the same! Are you able to provide specialist support to young people and create a lasting impact? As a Specialist Dyslexia Tutor, you’ll be key in supporting and teaching young people in small groups and 1-1. You’ll be screening students in Further Education with dyslexic tendencies, organising exam concessions, and supporting those with EHCPs. Qualified teacher (DET, PGCE or Certificate in Education). Level 7 SPLD qualified Assessor although experience as a Dyslexia Teacher with lower relevant qualifications would be considered. Two years successful experience of teaching students with specific learning difficulties. Experience of leading and managing a team, although not essential. Safeguarding Knowledge and understanding. Experience of a range of conditions and their impact on learning. The ability to adapt and engage with learners.
