Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a Procurement Support Manager to join a new and evolving procurement function at our Rugby site.
As our Procurement Support Manager, you will undertake sourcing activities and manage supplier relationships, enhancing financial performance and business resilience.
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, offering a competitive salary and package with the opportunity to work for a forward-thinking market leader.
Job responsibilities of Procurement Support Manager include:
1. Provide a comprehensive, business-focused procurement and commercial service, ensuring that best value for money is achieved.
2. Manage the negotiation, planning, and placement of contracts.
3. Build and maintain relationships with business teams and influence procurement decision-making.
4. Effectively manage suppliers and contracts to sustain value throughout their lifecycle.
5. Ensure appropriate approvals and correct commercial contract documentation and conditions are applied.
6. Contribute to the Preferred Supplier List.
7. Provide and deliver training on procurement procedures and policies.
8. Produce management information and reports.
Qualifications:
1. Proven ability to identify and implement value-added commercial solutions within a fast-paced, multi-site organization.
2. Proven ability to effectively manage multiple and potentially conflicting stakeholders.
3. Evidence of commercial and financial understanding, driving creative and market-leading value solutions.
4. Proven negotiation skills with suppliers and stakeholders to drive optimized outcomes.
5. Ability to implement strategic category plans.
6. Effective communication skills, successfully influencing decisions.
7. Confidence in challenging supply chain models and demand specifications.
8. A general commercial mindset, always seeking opportunities to add value.
