Purpose of the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Content Producer with creative flair, technical skill, and a love for the water. You’ll capture and create the content that brings the Gill story to life – shooting, editing, and designing across photo, video, and social. From campaign shoots to TikTok trends, you’ll help shape how the brand looks, feels, and connects with audiences worldwide.
This role is perfect for a creative all-rounder with a passion for storytelling, a strong eye for design, and a willingness to get stuck in – whether that’s behind the camera, on the water, or in the studio.
This is a UK-based hybrid role. However, you must be willing and able to regularly travel to our Nottingham HQ for collaborative sessions, specific events & content capture opportunities as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Create stand-out content:Plan, script, capture, and edit high-quality photography and video content for use across Gill’s global channels – including social media, YouTube, e-commerce, and campaigns.
* Design with impact:Create engaging and impactful visual assets such as web banners, social graphics, paid ads, and printed materials, maintaining a consistent brand look and feel.
* Drive social engagement:Contribute to the social content calendar – brainstorming, producing, and posting trend-led, platform-appropriate content (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
* Email marketing:Design and format visually appealing email campaigns in line with seasonal and product launches.
* Campaign collaboration:Work closely with the Digital Content Manager and wider marketing team to develop creative ideas for product campaigns, partnerships, and storytelling initiatives.
* Cross-functional support:Liaise with global e-commerce, trade, product and marketing teams to ensure consistent visual representation of the Gill brand across all touchpoints.
* Event Support:Attend events, product and ambassador shoots to create and capture compelling long and short form content.
Skills & Experience
* 2-3 years’ experience in content production – photography, videography, and design (agency or in-house).
* Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign).
* Solid understanding of social media best practices and emerging digital trends.
* Confident communicator and collaborator with a keen eye for design and visual detail (lighting and composition).
* Comfortable shooting both in-studio and on-location (outdoors, on the water). In and behind the camera.
* Experience or enthusiasm for sailing, boating, or water sports is essential.
* Self-motivated, organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a small, dynamic team environment.
* Excellent command of written and spoken English; additional languages an advantage.
