An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the on-site engineering team at a prestigious and secure site in Newmarket. This role forms part of a professional facilities management team responsible for delivering high-quality building maintenance and engineering services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of building services systems, ensuring the site remains safe, compliant and operating efficiently at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across mechanical and electrical building services
* Respond to reactive maintenance requests and resolve faults efficiently
* Perform routine inspections of plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Diagnose and repair faults across a range of mechanical and electrical systems
* Maintain accurate records of works carried out using the site maintenance system
* Support specialist subcontractors on site and ensure work is completed safely and to the required standards
* Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety and compliance regulations
* Assist with general building maintenance and site support tasks where required
Requirements
* Experience working as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within facilities management, building services or commercial maintenance
* Good working knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems
* Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Relevant engineering qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent) preferred
