Trainee White Goods Engineer
Location: Stevenage, Stevenage Customer Service Centre
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum depending on experience plus quarterly bonus
Shift Pattern: Average of 41 hours per week working 5 over 7 days (some Saturday working on a rostered basis). No Sundays!
Counties/Postcodes: Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and N, NW & EN London postcodes
If successful, you will start on Monday 9th June and must be available for the first 4 weeks for induction and training.

Job Description
We are seeking Trainee White Goods Engineers to join our White Goods Repair Team. This role offers the opportunity to develop into a fully qualified White Goods Engineer within 2-4 months, with daily adventures and skill-building.
Key responsibilities include building rapport with customers, diagnosing faults, installing, and repairing appliances to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Testing, diagnosing, and repairing white goods in customers’ homes
* Applying technical knowledge across various appliances
* Managing your own schedule and driving a company van
* Enhancing our reputation as home service experts
Requirements
* Experience with repair or installation of electric or electro-mechanical products
* Basic electrical knowledge (theory and practice)
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to handle heavy appliances
* Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
