Data Protection Solicitor (Oxfordshire)
To c£95,000 DOE – This specialist team within an award‑winning national law firm is seeking additional talent to advise on complex data protection matters on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis.
The practice is a growing contentious data protection and information governance team seeking a solicitor or experienced data protection professional.
Responsibilities
* Advising clients on complex Subject Access Requests, Freedom of Information Requests, data breaches and other challenging information law issues.
* Working on interesting, often high‑profile matters alongside a supportive and collaborative team.
Qualifications
* Qualified solicitors with data protection experience or in‑house data protection professionals.
* Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act, with experience managing DSARs and FOIA requests.
* Practical experience responding to personal data breaches and a commercial, pragmatic approach to problem‑solving.
* Experience in Cyber Attacks and contentious data protection matters, including tribunal proceedings, is a distinct advantage.
