Growth Marketing Manager – Land App

Location: Bristol, UK (Remote with weekly visits to Bristol office). Salary: £40,000-£50,000. Employment Type: Full‑time. Seniority: Mid‑Senior level. Role Type: Permanent.

From climate change to deforestation to sustainable food production, major challenges revolve around how land is used and managed. Land App provides data, advice and incentives via a cloud‑based platform to help users map land, apply for funding and connect to a sector‑wide network.


About the Role

As Growth Marketing Manager, you will be the engine of our customer acquisition and engagement strategy. You will architect and execute a data‑driven, full‑funnel marketing machine that attracts, converts and retains the right customers at scale.


Your Responsibilities

* Design, launch, and manage marketing campaigns across key channels, focusing on LinkedIn; conduct A/B tests and optimise for growth.
* Map and analyse the customer journey, eliminating friction and collaborating with Product and Sales to streamline lead handoff.
* Lead conversion‑rate optimisation experiments on landing pages, copy and CTAs.
* Produce technical content for landing pages and campaigns, translating complex features into benefit‑driven messaging.
* Develop and implement SEO, AEO and GEO strategies to boost organic visibility.
* Build and report on full‑funnel marketing metrics, providing actionable insights to the Go‑to‑Market team.
* Manage the marketing technology stack in partnership with the Go‑to‑Market Lead.


About You

* Proven track record in growth or performance marketing, ideally within a B2B SaaS company driving revenue.
* Analytical mindset; experienced with Google Analytics, HubSpot or similar tools.
* Exceptional technical writer and communicator; can craft clear, persuasive copy.
* Comfortable with end‑to‑end funnel optimisation and A/B testing.
* Entrepreneurial, autonomous, and thrives in a fast‑paced scaling startup.
* Hands‑on paid media expertise with budget management.
* Proactive problem‑solver with a test‑and‑learn mentality.
* Collaborative, working effectively with Sales, Product, and Customer Success.
* Passionate about our mission and eager to drive real‑world impact on sustainable land management.


Bonus Points If

* Background in agriculture, environmental sectors or land management.
* Experience with Account‑Based Marketing (ABM).
* Experience building automated lead nurturing and onboarding sequences.


Not the Right Fit If

* Prefer to focus on one channel without considering the full journey.
* Uncomfortable with revenue‑tied KPIs and reporting.
* Prefer high‑level strategy over hands‑on execution, analysis and copywriting.
* Want a highly structured corporate environment with rigid processes.
* Struggle with ambiguity in a scaling startup building processes from scratch.

Hiring Process

We believe the hiring process is a two‑way street. We’ll assess fit and you’ll assess us.

* Initial Screening Call – 15 mins to confirm mutual fit.
* Hiring Manager Interview – 45‑60 mins to discuss experience and role alignment.
* Role‑Specific Scenario/Task – 60 mins to demonstrate practical skills.
* Founder Interview – 30 mins with Tim, focusing on impact and fit.

Timelines: Screening calls starting before Christmas. Hiring manager interviews in January.
