An Outstanding Girls' school in Enfield is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher for a permanent, full-time position starting in September. The successful Geography Teacher will inspire female students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the wonders of the world and its people.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective Geography Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE Geography examinations.
* Develop students' understanding of geographical concepts, issues, and fieldwork skills.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback as a Geography Teacher.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the geography curriculum and resources.
* Encourage a curiosity about the world and its diverse environments and cultures.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Geography.
* Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
* Strong and comprehensive knowledge of physical and human geography.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored for engaging girls.
* Ability to differentiate instruction effectively to meet diverse learning needs.
