Application Support Developer Location: Hybrid – Borehamwood
We are looking for an Application Support Developer to provide technical expertise to resolve 3rd line software incidents and queries. You will primarily be responsible for resolving complex technical issues, however also implementing configuration and software updates, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our systems.
Provide expert-level support for escalated technical / software issues from 1st and 2nd line support teams within agreed timescales.
Diagnose and resolve complex software issues in a timely manner.
Perform advanced configurations and software updates to enhance systems as specified in requirements.
Participate in IT projects, including software updates and deployments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Share knowledge with team members and contribute to training initiatives.
Provide regular reporting to IT Manager
Ensuring that relevant process documentation and procedures are kept up to date and in line with internal IT standards.
Understanding of software development life cycle in an agile environment
Background in software development/engineering with commercial experience in Microsoft tech stack (C# .NET, SQL Server)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant work experience.
