Join our Community Learning & Development team and support the delivery of EasyP programme, helping young people aged 16-18 build confidence, skills and move into positive futures.
What you will do:
1. Deliver engaging group sessions and learning activities.
2. Build trusted relationships with young people.
3. Support confidence, wellbeing and employability skills
4. Help young people progress to education, training or work.
5. Work with partners to provide joined-up support.
You will bring
6. Experience of working with young people.
7. Confidence leading groups and engaging young people.
8. Strong communication skills.
9. A positive, supportive and inclusive approach.
The Person
10. Significant experience in a youth work setting.
11. SVQ 2 or 3 in Youth Work/PDA is desirable
12. Experience of developing learning and education programmes with young people. (deliver results – See ‘How We Work Matters’ framework)
13. Good organisational skills.
14. Ability to plan a programme around their needs.
15. Group facilitation skills
16. Ability to handle challenging situations.
17. Ability to motivate young people and encourage participation.
18. Ability to provide a regular and effective service.
19. Ability to travel within Fife if required.
20. Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain a Level 2 disclosure with PVG
