Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a well-established SME is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Assistant to support their finance function on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic business environment and make a real impact in a hands-on role.
Responsibilities:
* Managing the Sales Ledger, including credit control
* Overseeing the Purchase Ledger, reconciling supplier statements, and preparing cheque runs
* Posting and reconciling bank transactions
* Preparing monthly journals
* Assisting with VAT returns
* Supporting payroll processes
* Performing balance sheet reconciliations
About You
* Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts assistant role
* Strong understanding of both sales and purchase ledger processes
* Confident with bank reconciliations and journal entries
* Familiarity with payroll and VAT procedures
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Able to work independently and manage time effectively
