Job title: Vehicle Technician
Location: Carlisle
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm
The Role
We are recruiting a Vehicle Technician to join a busy and well-established dealership in Carlisle. You will play a key role in servicing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to the highest standards, working with a reputable brand and within a modern, fully equipped workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of vehicles
2. Complete vehicle health checks and report findings
3. Work to manufacturer and industry standards at all times
4. Accurately record all work carried out, parts used, and job outcomes
5. Liaise with service advisors and parts departments as needed
6. Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
7. NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
8. Experience working as a technician in a dealership or garage setting
9. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
10. A proactive and reliable approach to your work
11. Full UK driving licence
