Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Receptionist/Administrator to work within the Longbridge Community Mental Health Team.
The CMHTs provide assessment, specialist support, treatment and care planning for service users with functional mental health problems such as depression and psychotic mental illness. The service is multidisciplinary and operates within an integrated hub alongside other services.
In this role you will be the first point of contact for patients, staff and visitors to the building, and you will need to present in a friendly and approachable manner.
Responsibilities
* Monitor, record and book appointments.
* Manage a busy telephone line.
* Receive all incoming mail and ensure appropriate action is taken.
* Process clinical letters and other correspondence.
* Provide administrative support to all members of the hub, including liaison with multidisciplinary team members, other health professionals, GPs, social workers, service users and other appropriate agencies.
Qualifications
* Ability to work on your own initiative.
* Demonstrated effective organisational and administrative skills.
* Friendly and approachable presentation for first contact with patients, staff and visitors.
