Do you have strong experience leading a global payroll team? Are you looking for an opportunity to further your career in a critical role within a global HR function? SHL is seeking an experienced Global Payroll Manager to drive and oversee payroll operations across multiple countries and regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of international payroll legislation, excellent organizational and leadership, and the experience of directing complex, multi-jurisdictional payroll scenarios.

What you will be doing:
1. Overseeing end-to-end payroll operations across various countries and regions
2. Leading and assisting a global team of 7 payroll professionals, providing coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities
3. Overseeing year-end processes, including tax filings, statutory reporting, and issuance of annual staff statements
4. Driving system improvements and integrations to enhance payroll accuracy, automation, and efficiency
5. Monitoring and applying changes in local payroll legislation, tax rules, and compliance requirements across all relevant jurisdictions
6. Designing, implementing, and maintaining payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls
What we are looking for from you:
Essential:
7. Knowledge of Global Payrolls including laws, tax and compliance
8. Strong leadership and people management skills
9. Ability to work cross functionally with Finance, Tax and Legal
10. Continuous improvement mindset
Desirable:
11. Professional payroll certification (e.g., CIPP Diploma in Payroll Management)
12. Knowledge of ADP Payroll Systems
