Overview
Spring Care For You Ltd is a newly established, values-led provider of high-quality children's residential care based in Lincolnshire. Founded by four local community professionals in 2024, our mission is to provide therapeutic, nurturing homes for children aged 8–18 who have experienced significant trauma. Our homes are designed to support resilience, personal growth, and self-sufficiency in a safe and compassionate environment.
Role Overview:
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day care and support of children and young people living in our home. You will provide emotional and practical support, contribute to care planning, and ensure each young person feels safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build trusting, therapeutic relationships with children and young people based on empathy, consistency, and respect.
* Provide individualised care and support that reflects the unique needs and backgrounds of each young person.
* Support children with daily routines, including education, activities, mealtimes, and personal care where appropriate.
* Promote the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of each young person through positive role modelling and active engagement.
* Accurately record and report observations, incidents, and progress in line with company policies and safeguarding regulations.
* Support the implementation of care plans and contribute to their regular review alongside the wider team.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment in accordance with health & safety and Ofsted standards.
* Uphold and promote the company's core values of transparency, integrity, and dedication in all aspects of your work.
What We're Looking For:
* Passionate individuals who want to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people.
* Experience working with vulnerable children or young people is desirable but not essential – we value character and commitment just as much as qualifications.
* NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care (or willingness to work towards this).
* A trauma-informed and child-centred approach to care.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Resilience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm and consistent in challenging situations.
* A flexible approach to working shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
* Full UK Driving License (essential)
What We Offer:
* A warm, inclusive working environment where your voice and ideas are valued.
* Extensive induction, ongoing training, and support to help you thrive in your role.
* Opportunities for career development as we grow our services across Lincolnshire.
* Access to therapeutic guidance and reflective practice.
* Competitive pay and benefits package.
