Our client, growing and innovative business, has an exciting opportunity for an organised and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis.
This varied Accounts & Administration Assistant position offers the chance to work across both finance and operations, playing a key role in supporting the smooth running of day-to-day business activities while contributing to the delivery of exceptional service to customers and suppliers.
As Accounts & Administration Assistant, you will provide essential support across finance and operational functions, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately while helping to coordinate stock movements, deliveries and supplier relationships.
The responsibilities:
* Process purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve account queries
* Assist with payment runs and routine account reconciliations
* Maintain finance system records and master data updates
* Coordinate shipping documentation and logistics administration
* Monitor stock movements and support inventory control activities
* Manage retailer and customer portal requirements
* Provide administrative support to finance and operations teams
The candidate:
* Previous experience in accounts, finance or logistics administration
* Good working knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero or similar systems
* Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail
* Well organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Confident communicator with a proactive and flexible approach
