Looking for a PA / Carer for my son

* To provide support and assistance to enable my child to achieve their full potential (which may include some personal care and challenging behavior
* My child’s interest are
* Going to the park, swimming, beach, messy play, water play, play centers, riding his bike
* Medical list
* ADHD
* ASD
* GDD
* Mental health
Key main tasks:
∙ makaton
∙ how to deal with challenging behaviors
∙ pad changing

Hourly rate of pay:
* £12.21 per hour
Hours available:
* 6 hours a week term time 22 hours a week half term
* this will be increasing soon to more hours
* These hours can be used after school or weekends
* he's still incontinent so will need to be changed when he's out with you
* my son doesn't have any awareness of his surroundings so will need help to be able to cross roads safely, he also has a wheelchair to use when he goes out when needed, he is in one active boy who loves the outside world he likes to explore new places at times, he can become anxious with unfamiliar areas
* where he suffers with anxiety when he goes somewhere new but with a lot of reassurance Oscar will give it ago you may have to use a lot of prompting to help Oscar to get settled
* one happy boy who just wants to enjoy life
* he doesn't like sitting down for too long
* loves food he doesn’t have any allergies
* You will need to keep a eye on him when eating due to cramming too much food in his mouth at once so he will need supervision when eating
* he can talk a few words at a time but finds it hard to explain what he wants
* I'm as flexible as I can be I will work with you to get the best outcome
* We are looking for someone who's outgoing, understanding, good communication skills someone who can come to me if they have any questions on unsure on anything someone who can be flexible when needed and willing to work with us to get the best out of my son
* also someone who can drive due to my son not being able to go on public transport
An enhanced DBS for working with children will be required, which I will arrange if an up to date clearance is needed.
