Power Electronics Engineer - Contract - OUTSIDE IR35
Our client require an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to take the lead in developing of power conversion, motor drives and control systems for electric vehicle applications.
Candidate Requirements:
* Significant experience in development of power electronic systems such as DCDCs, inverters or rectifiers at high voltage (>400V) and high power (>10kW).
* Design of low-level analog and digital electronics to interface the power electronics to the control system.
* Schematic design and the specification, review and evaluation of PCB designs
* Use of simulation tools (e.g. SPICE) and other analysis techniques to model system behaviour and performance
* Practical experience of lab testing with HV systems.
