Leader Education are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a school within the local area. In this role, you will work alongside children with various additional needs such as ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and more. Responsibilities include supporting students on a one-to-one basis and occasionally in group settings. You will need to adapt quickly to meet individual needs and follow the IEP or EHCP plans. Helping children flourish and reach their full potential is central to this role.
Role Requirements
No prior experience is required but is desirable. A passion for working with children with additional needs and understanding the importance of accessible learning are essential. Empathy and proactivity are crucial to meet diverse needs. Candidates with backgrounds in Youth Work, Sport, Army, Police, Prison, or Creative Arts (such as Music or Art) are encouraged to apply.
