Legal AssistantWalsallPermanent, Full-time (35 hours per week)An established legal practice in Walsall is looking to recruit a Legal Secretarial Assistant to provide dedicated administrative and secretarial support to the firm’s lawyers. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, professional and comfortable working in a busy legal environment where attention to detail and efficiency are key.You will play an important role in helping lawyers manage their workload, maintain accurate documentation and ensure clients receive a high level of service.Key Responsibilities
* Providing administrative and secretarial support to lawyers
* Managing diaries, appointments and meeting arrangements
* Updating and maintaining files using the firm’s case management system
* Preparing legal documents, correspondence and reports
* Handling incoming calls and assisting with client enquiries
* Opening, organising and maintaining client files and documentation
* Assisting with preparation of court documents and general office administration
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a legal secretarial or legal administrative role preferred
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Professional communication skills
* Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
* Confident using Microsoft Office and case management systems
