Senior Interior Designer

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

We are looking for an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our creative team. While our studio is based in Essex, our project workload spans London, the Southeast, and the Midlands. An expectation of travelling to the Essex office 2–4 times per month, to collaborate with the wider team is required.
In this role, you’ll lead residential interior design projects with a focus on show homes and amenity spaces, pitching bold ideas to clients and seeing concepts through to installation. You’ll work closely with the Head of Design, Creative Director, and Project Managers, playing a key role in both creative direction and client management.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead residential interior design projects, particularly show homes, from concept to completion
* Confidently pitch and present compelling design concepts to clients, both in person and online
* Create mood boards, layouts, FF&E specifications, and detailed design packs
* Manage budgets, procurement, and supplier coordination
* Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure smooth delivery and seamless site execution
* Support and mentor junior designers, contributing to a positive, collaborative studio culture
Requirements:
* Degree in Interior Design or a related discipline
* 3–5+ years’ experience in residential interiors, with strong show home experience
* Confident client presenter with the ability to win trust and communicate design rationale
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
* Excellent project management, organisation, and timekeeping skills
* Ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between Essex, London, and regional sites
