Shift Team Leader - Hinckley
Hours: 40hrs weekly rotating shift, Monday - Friday
Week 1: 06:00-14:00
Week 2: 14:00-22:00

As our site continues to grow and modernise, we are now seeking a Shift Team Leader to take on a key leadership role within our operations. We’re looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and who can bring the right balance of leadership, organisation, and problem-solving. The role goes beyond managing day-to-day activity – you’ll be responsible for creating a culture where your team can perform at their very best, working closely with colleagues across departments to improve processes, reduce costs, and deliver on our customer commitments. You will focus on the performance management of key personnel to ensure that productivity improvement plans are met, also ensuring departmental targets are achieved and actively pursuing improvements in the workplace through cooperation with the Shift Manager, Production Manager, Quality Coordinator and other colleagues.

As a Shift Team Leader, you will:
1. Lead and motivate your team to deliver against performance targets and KPIs.
2. Manage and support key personnel, ensuring productivity improvement plans are achieved.
3. Collaborate with the Shift Manager, Production Manager, Quality Coordinator and other colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
4. Work across departments to support change programmes that improve business performance and reduce costs.
5. Champion a positive, safe, and high-performing workplace culture.

What we would like to see from you:
6. Proven leadership and people management experience, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.
7. Strong communication and organisational skills.
8. A track record of delivering results through motivating and developing teams.
9. A proactive approach to problem solving and driving continuous improvement.
10. Proven track record of driving machine efficiency improvements
11. Excellent communication and influencing skills
12. The ability to set targets and manage performance to achieve these results
