Vehicle Technician required in Norwich
Our client, a well established Family run Independent Garage based in the Bury area, are looking for a Vehicle Technician to join their team.

Core Duties and Tasks as a Vehicle Technician:
9. Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on many types of vehicles while maintaining company and industry standards and adhering to time constraints.
10. Carry out diagnosis, fault-finding, verification and road testing
11. Ensure effective use of technical knowledge/skills enabling efficient, economic, and safe servicing and repair of the vehicles.
12. Complete repair and service records/other appropriate activities the Team Leader and Manager required
13. Analyse work orders carefully to understand a vehicle’s condition, the accuracy of the diagnosis, and what work has been agreed.
14. MOT testing (not essential) and application of all regulatory matters
15. Assisting procurement, supplier contracts and trade relationships
16. Assisting procurement best in practice, in terms of value and quality and deliverables
17. Assisting parts managements and returns
18. Assisting customer management including complaint management
19. Maintaining service areas and workshop cleanliness and safety
Qualifications, experience and attributes as a Vehicle Technician:
20. NVQ Leve Level 3 Qualification
21. Previous experience ; ideally a minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
22. Build effective working relationships with colleagues
23. Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service
24. Share sense of personal pride, be reliable, conscientious and have an eye for detail, efficiency and timelines
25. Quality assurance
26. Organisational skills, and work well under pressure
27. Knowledge of the Motor Trade
28. To work diligently and without constant supervision to high standard, plus ability to use initiative where necessary
29. Full UK driving licence
