Role: Service Coordinator

Location: St Neots, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Salary: £24784.50 (DOE)

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a proactive and responsive Service Coordinator to join a dynamic service team.

Our client is seeking an individual with strong planning and organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solutions-focused mindset.

The ideal candidate will be confident building relationships with customers and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.

Duties of a Service Coordinator:

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction
2. Respond to customer enquiries and resolve issues efficiently via phone and email
3. Coordinate and schedule contractors and customers to ensure smooth service operations
4. Plan and manage customer service activities effectively
5. Adapt to changing situations and provide practical solutions to customer needs
6. Work collaboratively within the team while also managing individual responsibilities
7. Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, contractors, and internal teams
8. Accurately input and manage data within CRM systems and customer service portals
9. Log job sheets and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track service activity
10. Provide regular updates and reports to the Service Manager
11. Manage invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion

What we would like from you:

12. Previous experience in a customer service role (service industry experience desirable)
13. Strong organisational and planning skills
14. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
15. Proficiency in data entry, and Microsoft Excel
16. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
17. A proactive, solutions-focused approach
18. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
19. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently
20. Experience coordinating and scheduling contractors/customers (desirable)

21. Flexibility to work varied hours when required
22. High attention to detail and accuracy
23. Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving
