An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Ashby de la Zouch Agency. We are a growing agency based in North West Leicestershire, with a settled team and agency partnership. With a focus on both our existing farming customer base, and expanding our commercial customer base, there is room for growth and personal development at the agency for the right candidate. We are both a Commercial Focused agency and a Bespoke High Net-Worth agency, as well as retaining a large farming customer base. We are a high performing agency, qualifying for the 1910 competition, for the last three years running. We have huge growth aspirations in the commercial sector
About the role:
• Developing long term relationships with existing customers, in the high net-worth, farming and commercial sectors.
• Prospect and generate new commercial insurance leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry events.
• Prepare and present competitive proposals and quotes to prospective clients.
• Handling general customer enquiries, policy alterations and renewal changes by phone or email.
• Selling new NFU Mutual insurance policies to our existing insurance clients and new customers to the NFU Mutual.
• Proving support to the agents, where necessary accompanying them on visits to customers.
• Support with general office administration and providing support to the rest of the team.
• Attend trade shows, seminars, and training to deepen product knowledge and expand professional network.
About you:
• A determined individual who can demonstrate the required attributes to proactively manage customers and their insurance needs.
• A proficient IT user.
• Excellent communication & the confidence to take decisions independently.
• Good rapport building skills with both customers and other staff members.
• Minimum of GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English.
• The ability to adapt and learn new skills and processes.
• Full Driving License
• CRM experience
• Team player with a client-first mindset.
• Preferably, previous insurance knowledge in the commercial insurance sector.
