This hands-on role supports both the Sales and Production teams, ensuring orders are processed accurately, works orders are issued on time, and customer delivery dates are met. Its ideal for someone with strong administrative or coordination experience who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly between departments. Key Responsibilities Accurately receive and enter customer sales orders into the system Verify order details including pricing, product codes, quantities, and delivery terms Liaise with the Production team to generate and issue works orders Monitor lead times and update customers on progress or changes Support the Estimating and Sales teams with cost data and quote preparation Maintain accurate records of orders, quotes, and pricing documents Communicate clearly across Production, Logistics, and Accounts to ensure deadlines are met What Were Looking For Previous experience in an administration, order processing, or customer service role (manufacturing or logistics experience an advantage) Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills Confident using Microsoft Excel and other office systems Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Key Competencies Interdepartmental Coordination: Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with Production, Logistics, and Accounts departments. Time Management: Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of orders and quotations simultaneously.
