As a Service Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service. Your responsibilities will include: Customer Engagement:
Understand and respond to customer requests, prioritizing their needs and coordinating actions within agreed timelines. Resource Management:
Allocate the right resources to meet customer needs efficiently while maximizing engineer productivity. Job Oversight:
Manage job progress, ensuring resolution benefits both Finning and our customers. Work Order Management:
Open and close work orders accurately to maximize billing accuracy and timeliness. Team Leadership:
Directly manage a team of 4-8 engineers, providing mentorship and addressing performance issues. Process Adherence:
Ensure compliance with service processes to deliver extraordinary customer service consistently. What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: Customer Service Skills:
Ability to build strong relationships with customers. Planning and Organizing:
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Attention to Detail:
A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks. Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Technical Proficiency:
Good IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office. Engineering Knowledge:
Foundational understanding of engineering principles and a minimum of 3 years in a technical or mechanical engineering role. Working Conditions
This is a permanent, office-based position with flexible working hours between
7 AM – 6 PM
on weekdays, and potential Saturday shifts as needed. You will be responsible for planning and dispatching approximately 100 work orders monthly, with an average value of £300k. Why Finning?
