KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1. Supervision and Safety: Responsible for the safe supervision of the facilities and the health and safety of all facility users.
2. Life Guarding: Provide effective, preventative lifeguarding during all pool sessions.
3. Emergency Response: Carry out emergency action plans in case of accidents or injuries, perform water rescues, and administer first aid as per training.
4. Training and Compliance: Maintain physical and lifesaving training to meet current Health & Safety regulations and standards set by High Life Highland; participate in ongoing training.
5. Operations: Assist with and supervise the safe operation of water and land-based activities.
6. Activity Management: Organise and lead activities and classes within the programme.
7. Behaviour Management: Encourage safe and acceptable user behaviour.
8. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is maintained to safety and cleanliness standards and set out safely when required.
9. Communication: Liaise with other users and staff regarding daily operations.
10. Procedures and Improvements: Regularly update yourself on procedures and suggest improvements to enhance centre effectiveness and efficiency.
11. Facility Maintenance: Ensure the cleaning programme is completed to standard.
12. Reception Duties: Manage reception and cash control, including admissions and cashiering.
13. Fitness Suite: Deliver inductions in the Fitness Suite.
14. Sales and Customer Care: Promote and sell High Life Memberships and provide high-level customer care.
