The successful candidate for this role will join the Delivery team of the in-service support contract for the RAF A400M fleet at Brize Norton. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to one of Airbus Military's most valuable customers and products.
The role sits within the Operational Excellence and Business Management department, which focuses on Continuous Improvement projects and business management activities. You will report directly to the Head of the department. We provide a 24/7 service, and the role is varied, often requiring high levels of flexibility and multitasking in a dynamic, exciting, and ever-changing environment.
What you will be doing:
During this internship, the activities you may undertake will include:
* Business Management: Provide support and assistance to business management activities, including Procurement, IT and Security areas between other business requirements.
* Continuous Improvement: Opportunity to lead some of our improvement projects within the Operational Excellence framework. The candidate will act as the project lead of a multidisciplinary team.
* Communications: Assist in the development and implementation of internal communication strategies.
* Internal/External Engagement: Interface with the customer, suppliers and internal as required by the assigned activities and projects.
* Event Management: Manage internal events, taking responsibility for outcomes, budgets, timescales, etc. Assist with organizing high-profile corporate events.
* Administrative Tasks: For example, preparation of status reports, minutes of meetings, and coordination of agendas.

Requirements:

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
* Studying towards a degree in Business Management or equivalent;
* Knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft tools for editing, preparing presentations, analyzing data, and creating charts is advantageous;
* You must be confident, proactive, and self-motivating, and able to work with minimal supervision;
* Good personal communication skills, both spoken and written, are essential;
* Having a UK driving licence and your own car would be beneficial.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
