THE OPPORTUNITY – ONSHORE PLANNER SUPPORTING BARROW GAS TERMINAL The Planner implements, drives and identifies opportunities to improve the Spirit Energy planning process, whilst ensuring consistency, diligence, rigor and industry best practice for developing plans to support the Morecambe hub. Specific responsibility for Barrow Terminal operations. The successful candidate will be required to deliver daily support to operations, providing guidance on prioritization. They will be responsible for compiling and facilitating the 28 day and 3M plans, ensuring engagement with key stakeholders for plan entry, and execution preparedness, for delivery in the 28-day window. Key participant in the 8Q planning process Duration: Core role. 12 months. PAYE contract. Location: Barrow or Aberdeen Office. If Aberdeen based there would be an expectation for regular trips to site. Closing Date for Applications: cob Tuesday 10th March Spirit Energy currently have a non-contractual hybrid working arrangement for all office-based workers (Aberdeen and Barrow). 4 days must be worked in the office with compulsory days being Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The fourth day worked in-office (either Monday or Friday) is of the worker’s choosing but should be in keeping with what is most efficient and effective for their team. The office is open 5 days a week for full time, in-office working if this is the contractor’s preference. AND NOW FOR THE TECHNICAL BIT… In role, you will be accountable for: Integrated asset planning for onshore operations and resourcing. Producing the 4W plan weekly, incorporating activities from operations and other relevant functions including Projects and Decommissioning Producing the 3M plan monthly, incorporating activities from operations and other relevant functions Supporting the development of the 8Q plan, understanding the business drivers and commitments while incorporating activities from operations and other relevant functions Supporting schedulers to ensure combined plans and schedules are implemented to maximize resource efficiency and achieve Schedule compliance Implementing standard planning practice and producing the data to measure plan attainment Enforcing planning process stage gates Optimising the integrated plan for efficiencies and identifies SIMOPS clashes Ensuring oversight of the barrier model is maintained and integrated with the plan as appropriate. Maintaining oversight of ORA’s on the IAP Identifying and supporting the delivery of business improvement opportunities within relevant area of the business. Providing cover for offshore planner when required. ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role you will have: Significant experience and knowledge of Primavera P6 and SAP Expertise in integrated planning in an Operations environment, with a maintenance focus An understanding of Project Controls across Planning, Cost, Risk, MoC, etc. An analytical and systematic approach with an eye for detail Great communication skills that inform/shares knowledge clearly and unambiguously A proven ability to work collaboratively within their team and across the organisation and externally as required. The ability to conduct all activities in a safe and effective manner and raise safety and environmental issues immediately and in line with corporate policy But we’re not just about energy, we’re about Spirit.
