The Medical Photography and Video Department have an exciting opportunity for a person to fulfil the role of Telederm Service Administrator.
We are a busy dedicated team who look after the Clinical Photography and Video needs of our patients and clinicians across all three main Trust sites and within the community.
The service is rapidly growing and evolving to encompass new technologies and changes in healthcare access nationally.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will need to
1. Co-ordinate all referrals to the Telederm service and liaise with GP practices to ensure correct referral pathway
2. Book all patient appointments
3. Accurately record clinical history of all patients attending the Telederm service
4. Be responsible for inputting patient data and using appropriate software to enable auditing of this information.
5. Liaise with any external AI and technology providers
6. Manage clinical images within the department digital image management system
7. Collate statistics and manage daily workflow
8. Work alongside other department administrators to provide continual admin support to the photographers
9. To assist the clinical photographers with patients as required in the photographic studio.
10. To provide support to the MPV team by maintaining and supporting photography databases and associated applications by routine housekeeping, image upload and download.

11. Proven previous experience of administration management

15. Understanding of clinical consent and access to medical records issues
16. Knowledge of Information Governance and IT legislation and procedures e.g. Data Protection
17. Experience of working in health service environment
18. Excellent IT skills with good knowledge of file management, archiving, scanning, printing
19. Sympathetic and professional attitude to patients
20. Knowledge and experience in the use of specialist software packages such as Adobe Photoshop
