Shop Manager – Full Time
Hours: 45 hours across 5 days per week. Pay: £39,889-£48,343 per annum. Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, and more.

Responsibilities
- Lead by example and get stuck in with the day‑to‑day tasks involved in running a busy shop.
- Motivate and inspire the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service to customers.
- Recruit, induct and develop the team through coaching, mentoring and providing feedback, building a talent pipeline.
- Ensure customers are looked after, deliveries processed quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
- Control key shop costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll to achieve KPIs, reporting directly to the area manager.
- Meet standards in customer service, cash handling, health & safety, stock management, merchandising and presentation.

- Trustworthy and reliable, performing duties to the best of your ability.
- Experience as a manager or assistant manager.
- Full driving licence desirable; applicants without a licence but meeting other criteria may apply.
- Ability to complete an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS / Disclosure Scotland check if offered the position.
