The Role of the Design Draughtsperson:
As a Design Draughtsperson, you’ll play a crucial role in turning ideas into practical, precision-engineered designs. You’ll be responsible for producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings, supporting technical documentation, and collaborating across teams to ensure designs are efficient and ready for manufacture.
Creating detailed 2D and 3D design drawings and models using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
Producing comprehensive technical documentation, including BOMs and assembly instructions.
Collaborating with engineering and production teams to refine designs and ensure manufacturability.
Supporting quality assurance by reviewing drawings and eliminating design discrepancies.
Staying current with drafting standards and software developments to drive continuous improvement.
Mechanical Engineering qualifications
Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault
