Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Adult Social Worker to join its client’s Contact & Assessment team, based in Cardiff. What will your responsibilities be? Assist individuals to resolve major difficulties in their lives and enhance their independence and coping skills Work within current legislation and Council policies, procedures, and practices Assess, commission, and review services, including planned interventions, for a specific client group Operate within statutory guidance and policy/procedural frameworks to help protect individuals who are at risk or vulnerable Qualifications & Experience: To be successful in this role you must have: Professional Qualification: MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW Registration: Must be registered with Social Care Wales Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ post‑qualified experience in a statutory setting Legislation Knowledge: Strong understanding of: Mental Health Act 1983 Mental Capacity Act 2005 Social Services and Well‑being (Wales) Act 2014 Safeguarding procedures Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010 Skills: Excellent assessment, communication, and risk‑management skills; ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced multidisciplinary environment Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (often required for community visits) Why Liquid Personnel?
