We're looking for a SEO Executive to join us on that journey. This role is about more than just day-to-day responsibilities, it's about shaping how we inspire our customers, support our stores, and grow our community of adventurers.
We're currently based in Kemble but will be moving to central Swindon in Spring 2026 - just a short walk from the train station and the new bus boulevard. What you'll be doing
Carry out keyword research and map opportunities across categories, brands and content.
Optimise on-page SEO elements — including metadata, headings, copy, internal links and image alt text.
Run regular technical SEO audits and raise clear tickets for development fixes.
Monitor organic performance and produce insight-led reports.
Track competitor activity and SERP trends to identify risks and opportunities.
Maintain and improve internal linking structures across the site.
Work with merchandising and buying teams to create SEO-ready campaign and launch pages.
Support SEO testing initiatives across copy, templates, schema and UX.
Stay up to date with algorithm updates and industry developments.
We're looking for someone who
Has a strong understanding of on-page SEO, including keyword research, search intent, metadata, headings, internal linking and content optimisation.
Possesses a working knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals such as crawlability, indexation, site architecture, page speed, redirects, canonicals and structured data.
Is familiar with web analytics and SEO platforms (e.g. Adobe, Search Console, crawling tools and keyword/visibility tools).
Understands ecommerce and retail trading cycles, and how SEO supports category, brand and campaign performance.
Keeps up to date with search engine guidelines, algorithm changes and emerging SERP features (e.g. AI Overviews and rich results).
