Change Manager – Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Change Manager to join Digital and Data Services at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting time for the Trust as we continue to deliver and mature our ambitious digital transformation programme.
The post holder will support colleagues in a wide range of roles across a dynamic and complex transformation environment. We are looking for a highly motivated, self‑starting and imaginative individual with strong engagement and influencing skills, who can build commitment to complex projects and support the successful delivery of change.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading or supporting Digital and Data Services transformation projects across the Trust.
* Working closely with project teams to develop, define and shape change, integrating change management and ensuring successful delivery and adoption of large‑scale change.
* Promoting a digital culture across the Trust.
* Creating and implementing change management plans that maximise employee adoption and minimise resistance.
* Establishing effective networks to communicate change and using motivational skills to encourage collaborative working.
* Role‑modeling compassionate and inclusive leadership to shape a collective leadership culture within the Trust.
* Providing direct support and coaching to colleagues to facilitate transitions and remove barriers to change.
* Managing risks, issues and mitigating tactics and reporting to relevant boards.
* Ensuring changes comply with clinical safety requirements and security protocols.
Qualifications:
* Degree level education with post‑graduate experience in major change programmes or equivalent.
* Relevant qualification such as Change Management Institute ACMF (Accredited Change Manager Foundation), MSP Practitioner or equivalent.
* Evidence of continuous professional development.
* Teaching and/or coaching qualification.
* Prince2 Foundation level qualification or similar.
Experience:
* Managing, implementing, facilitating and monitoring change initiatives within a project environment using appropriate tools and techniques.
* Strong analytical and judgement skills, able to analyse and define complex problems and implement solutions.
* Experience in stakeholder management and ability to gain buy‑in to enable change.
* Experience working in an environment of significant and fast‑paced change with demanding timelines.
* Experience in coaching others to deliver improvements.
* Understanding of acute patient pathways and service delivery.
