Position Title: Assembly Operative
Location: Ballymoney
Reporting to: Production Manager
Hours of work: 39 hours
We require driven and enthusiastic Team Members who are capable of working in a team orientated environment where we manufacture mobile screening equipment.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Efficient and timely handling of all materials
2. Support Production through timely and accurate delivery of Parts
3. Use of PIT in a safe and efficient manner including Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Pallet Stacker, Tugger Truck etc.
4. Processing of Parts received to both Production and Stores
5. Prompt and accurate control of paperwork
6. Receipting of goods against purchase orders on MRP system (if applicable)
7. Loading and Unloading of Material deliveries
8. Compliance with inventory control measures
9. Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures
10. Escalation of key issues to Supervisor/Manager.
11. Following Standard Work procedures.
12. General Housekeeping Duties.
13. Compliance with Health & Safety policies.
14. Any other reasonable duties as requested by manager.
Experience and Qualifications:
15. Previous experience of working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
16. Valid PIT license, preferably Counterbalance
17. IT literate – previous experience of MRP style system would be advantageous
18. Educated to GCSE standard
19. Understanding of Inventory Control
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
20. Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
21. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
22. Flexibility and ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities.
23. Knowledge of inventory control.
24. Ability to learn quickly, use your initiative and work as part of a team.
25. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
26. A logical and methodical approach to problem solving along with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner to meet targets.
27. Self-motivation and initiative
