FJA are working with a large water utilities company who are recruiting for experienced Leakage Technicians who will be responsible for day-to-day leak detection activities Nationwide. Leakage Technicians must be proficient in the use of leakage detection equipment, including a correlator, pipe tracer, ground microphone and listening stick. Experience within Step Testing, Trunk Mains, Validation and Seepage would be desirable but not essential. Excellent rates of pay! Main responsibilities will be the following:
1. Undertake survey work/project work not normally associated with day-to-day leak detection.
2. Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection
3. Undertake survey work/project worknot normally associated with day-to-day leak detection.
4. To undertake a detailed survey to identify the type and location of water leakageon large diameter pipes.
5. Carry out adequate and accurate completion of all paperwork (including time sheets, survey forms, leak details) and other duties as required.
