The Team Secretary provides a professional and comprehensive administrative/secretarial support to the Type 2 Diabetes Prevention programme and the wider Dietetic service. The work base is flexible between at New Craigs Hospital, RNI and remote working.
You will ensure the smooth running of the service and to assist the Advanced Dietetic Practitioner, Specialist Health Improvement Practitioners (currently 2.4 wte) and wider team with efficient and effective service delivery.
This includes providing receptionist and telephone duties; administrating databases, maintaining effective appointments procedures, system; good focus, concentration and attention to detail is essential. There will be opportunities for flexible working as part of the administrative team for the Nutrition and Dietetic Service.
You will need to be:
1. Educated to Standard Grade or equivalent in English and Mathematics with two years’ experience in administrative/secretarial work, preferably in Health Service environment.
2. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
3. Computer skills – word/excel/internet/email/access/power point etc
4. Ability to work with limited supervision with own initiative and also part of a team
5. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
6. Good organisational skills and time management
