Job Description
Designation: Operations Manager - Partner Business
Location: Corporate HQ, Gurgaon
Reports to: India Retail HeadKey Responsibilities1. Franchise & Partner Relationship Management
3. Serve as the primary point of contact for franchise partners across regions.
4. Build strong, trust-based relationships to drive alignment with the brand's strategic and operational goals.
5. Conduct regular business reviews with partners to analyze performance, share insights, and drive continuous improvement.
2. Retail Operations Excellence
6. Ensure all partner stores meet global operational standards including VM, customer experience, and store compliance.
7. Drive operational KPIs such as sales, conversion, staff productivity, inventory accuracy, and shrinkage control.
8. Facilitate the rollout of new retail processes, systems, and SOPs across the partner network.
3. Commercial & Business Performance
9. Monitor franchise P&L, store profitability, and ROI metrics; recommend interventions to optimize performance.
10. Guide partners on budgeting, inventory planning, store manning, and cost efficiencies.
11. Work with finance teams to ensure adherence to commercial agreements and timely settlements.
4. Expansion & New Store Openings
12. Support market development initiatives including new partner onboarding and store identification.
13. Oversee end-to-end new store opening processes - from pre-launch readiness to post-launch stabilization.
14. Ensure new stores comply with brand standards on layout, visual merchandising, and operational readiness.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
15. Liaise closely with merchandising, supply chain, marketing, and HR teams to support partner-led business needs.
16. Provide operational insights to influence assortment planning, promotional strategies, and training programs.
17. Coordinate with VM and marketing teams to ensure cohesive brand execution across partner stores.
6. Compliance & Governance
18. Ensure partner stores adhere to legal, statutory, and brand compliance requirements.
19. Drive audits for operational standards, inventory, and financial processes.
20. Manage contractual obligations and ensure partners follow agreed-upon business guidelines.
The Successful Applicant
10-12 years of demonstrated2 experience working with Franchises and Partner Businesses.
21. A strong educational background relevant to retail or business operations.
22. Proven expertise in the fashion/apparel industry.
23. Experience in managing partnerships and vendor relationships.
24. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
25. Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
26. Proficiency in using relevant tools for data analysis and reporting.
