Workforce Planner Permanent Position £40k
A leading production facility is seeking a WorkforcePlanner to join its operational team.
Reporting to the Process Production Manager, you would be responsible for leading the workforce planning, being responsible for site delivery of the production plan as well as the daily workforce requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead labour planning for the production facility, managing the delivery of workforce requirements to meet the sites operational targets.
2. Develop and standardize labour planning and reporting tools across the facility.
3. Ensure labour plans accurately reflect business needs and help optimize workforce deployment.
4. Model and analyse working patterns, holidays, and annualized hours to support operational planning.
5. Foster strong relationships with temporary labour providers, lead meeting routines, ensure accuracy in reporting and financials, and manage purchase orders and invoicing for labour costs.
6. Maintain and optimize annual rotas, tracking and calculating year-end annualized hours.
7. Analyse financial performance versus budget, providing mitigation strategies as needed.
