Senior Clinical Research Nurse (Band 6) – full-time 37.5 hours/week. Join the Collaborative Research Team to coordinate and deliver clinical research studies at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MFT). The team supports research delivery across specialties with a focus on Colorectal, Hepatology, Gastro, HPB, Trauma and Orthopaedics, ENT, Head and Neck, Maxillofacial, Surgery, cancer and other areas.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and deliver clinical research studies in collaboration with the Collaborative Research Team across multiple sites.
* Assist in management, coordination and facilitation of clinical trial activities to support delivery of current and future studies on time and to target.
* Provide specialist research and clinical care to participants enrolling in various research studies and projects.
* Develop study procedures and practice, gain consent and approvals, and recruit patients.
* Perform clinical duties including providing high-quality patient care and collecting/processing samples.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience in clinical research delivery and patient care within a hospital/clinical setting preferred.
* Ability to work across multiple specialties and sites with good communication and coordination skills.
* Proactive approach to study management, consent processes, approvals, and patient recruitment.
