Bank shift – various hours available covering Days. Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel. The charity provides care home and day care services for older people, as well as grants for older people in financial difficulty. Malvern Day Care in Worcestershire offers person-centred day care for people living with dementia. Our customers can meet new friends and take part in activities they enjoy, with help and support available from our dedicated and experienced care staff.
Responsibilities
* Join our committed team as a Bank Day Care Assistant, providing a high standard of holistic care and support for clients so they can maintain independence, autonomy, choice and lead fulfilled lives.
* Ensure clients are at the heart of day care delivery and that their physical, social and wellbeing needs are being met.
* Maintain high standards of care and facilitate a client’s choice, dignity, and respect.
* Keep our clients safe and secure.
Requirements / Qualifications
* We welcome applications from those with experience in working with older people and hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, though this is not essential.
* We will provide training to help you excel in this role.
