Meridian business support is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Van Driverfor an online retailer based near Tarporleyon a temporary to permanent basis.
You will be working Monday to Friday (no weekends) 8am-5pm with an hourly rate of £12.30 - £12.60.
Full, clean UK Driving License is essential.
As Warehouse Operative you will be working in a team of other Warehouse and Yard Operatives with a variety of duties which will include heavy lifting of furniture as well as driving the van twice per week.
Duties as below:
* Unloading of 40ft shipping containers (Full of furniture) decanting into the warehouse
* Picking furniture from the warehouse ready to load on 3.5 tonne vans
* Load the vans, securing the furniture in place
* Picking furniture for Amazon PRIME, DPD and their3rd Party delivery partner
* Labelling the furniture and loading onto their delivery partners' vans
* General warehousing duties, def raggingand creating space
* Unloading of returning vehicles from delivery runs
* Sorting Returns
* Light repairs to returned stock
* Readying items for sale on eBay
